Excel Tips


conditional formating :

1) select the cell where we are going to apply the formating.

2) Click on conditional formating

3) go to New rule

4) select the second option

5) Give the rules conditions in the second columns.

6) apply the format using the format painter where ever required.


 Protecting the sheets/files. :

Protecting the files with password :

1) when we are saving the file, go to tools in the dialog box , select genaral options.

2) type the passwords then click ok.

Protect the worsheet :

1) RightClick on the sheet name

2) Select protect sheet,

3) check the approriate conditions to protect the sheet.

4) Click Ok.

5) right click on the worksheet name.

6) Click on unprotect.


Creating the list. :

1) click on Alt +D + L

2) select "List" from the drop down

3) go to the source & select the source cells, or we can enter manually also.

4) We can enter the text on the input messae & error ( optional).

Remove the Validation

Go to --> Data --> validation --> ( choose the option ).

Remove the gridlines
open the Excel --> go to View tab --> uncheck the "gridlines".

1) Do 10 min Pranayama (breathing excersise )

2) Do 10 min Kapalbah ( stomch excersie)


Just follow the above 2 steps every day, Enjoy your health.
